Happy Saturday, y’all!
Actually, I’m writing this on Friday afternoon because I have to go to bed early tonight due to a 5K that I plan to run on Saturday morning. And I must be well rested so that I don’t injure my foot like a certain someone that I know (*cough* Phoo *cough*). And this is not “the” 5K that I’ve supposedly been training for. That one is in May—the Race for the Cure. We’ll just call this one a practice run.
OH! I forgot to tell you that I got a number for the Peachtree Road Race in July. Well, my check cleared, so I’m assuming that I’ll get a number. There had better be plenty of paramedics on hand for that one, is all that I can say.
Anyhow, today is Saturday Photo Hunters Day! Woo-hoo! And today’s theme? Is Hobby. And no, my hobby is not running. That’s more like a torturous undertaking. Actually, I have a couple of different hobbies—all of which I have no time for. But I take part in them anyway.
Obviously, my main hobby right now is blogging. Now, I guess that I could post a picture of me typing away at my computer. Can you say boring? So, my next greatest hobby (that I was just recently introduced to) is scrapbooking. And of course since I love traveling, the following are pictures of a few pages from my fabulous-o (at least I think so) scrapbook that I created for my trip to London and Paris. Kind of like two hobbies mixed into one, you know?
I won’t bore you with the details. I’ll just show you the pictures…
And one of my other hobbies? Sewing. But I think that I’ll save that one for my Friday Flasback next week.
Have a great weekend! And just so you know, I’ll be sleeping in the basement Saturday night with my weather radio and the dogs. Bad storms are abrewin’ in Georgia! I am scared.

Lots of scrapbooking hobbies. My daughter loves it!
I hope we don’t have *really* bad storms tomorrow. It’s so hard to herd cats into the basement
Happy Weekend!
Wow, what a great job and gorgeous pictures. Virtual hugs coming your way and prayers for a good night’s sleep despite the storms.
Your scrapbook is fabulous! I wish you could come over here and make a few for me! I’ve only had the patience to make one or two over the years, and every time I look at them, I wish I had one for every trip I’ve been on. I’m jealous!
That is one terrific scrapbook!
Good luck with the storms down there, stay safe!
Your scrapbook is great and by the way stay safe.
Wow thats a beautiful scrapbook. I wish I had the patience to make them.
Mine is up too.
What great scrapbooking pages. You really worked hard on them! Stay safe during the storm!
Terrific scrapbook pages!
Lovely! Scrapbooking sounds like a fun hobby.
My humans both love to run – they are running the Hamburg Marathon on April 29th. Good luck with your 5K!
I hope your run went well.
Your scrapbook pages are great! I would love to be able to travel a little more, maybe then I’d scrapbook more too.
Scrapbooking and traveling are two hobbies that go together perfectly. What a great way to remember a wonderful trip. I hope you did well on your 5K!
If this is your first attempt at scrapbooking then it is fabulous. I love to do it too but haven’t the space right now. I like to spread out. Good luck with those storms. The low is supposed to get here tonight!
Nice pictures and hobbies. I hope the storm wasn’t too bad. Happy weekend.
Beautiful pages! I have so much envy for all the talented scrapbookers I’ve been seeing today! Great pictures for the theme.
Oh brother. Never comment at 6AM: I left the comment for this post on the magnet post below. So now I will comment on the magnet post here (just to be fair). Your collection is impressive. Mine is from each state that I have visited with some others tossed in. So my refrigerator looks like a junk pile, not an art collection! I should try to make mine classier.
Scrapbooking is a very nice way to remember travels. I love it. But is there a way to care for it so that the pictures dont stick or fade over time?
My daughter loves to scrapbook and one day I joined her and actually came up with some very cool designs of my own, including a couple of “biker” pages. It’s actually a great hobby. I like the ones you displayed.
great scrapbook! looks like one of your hobbies is also to travel…..which is my biggest hobby. FUN!
excellent work on your scrapbook! This blog is very nice too, I really like the theme.
