It’s finally Saturday, and I’m busy with my neighborhood garage sale. And I decided not to throw everything on the lawn for the taking in a fit of unpreparedness as I had previously thought. Instead, I was able to gather and price everything throughout the week in a fairly organized manner. Because I am a coordinator, ya know?
Of course, GR was doing his best at trying to convince me to price everything in the house. Including the curtains on the windows. LET’S JUST SELL EVERYTHING, he said. When we move to our double-wide in the neighboring county, we won’t need all this stuff. Just a few packs of ciggies, some cheap beer, and the love between us. Y’all, I have the most romantic husband in the world.
Anyhow, today is Saturday Photo Hunters Day, and the theme is Cooking. Which I don’t do much of. And when I do cook, it normally turns into something like this:
A concoction of worms and meat, you ask? Oh no, it’s a meatloaf. And if you would like to read the story about this meatloaf, click here. Don’t worry. I won’t hold it against you if you don’t. This is pretty much a recycled post, but isn’t meatloaf better the next day? Or in this case, the next month or so? Give it a try it and let me know.
Happy Saturday, y’all!

Well, I love my meatloaf right after it’s cooked and not preserve it for any other day.
there is nothing better than next day meatloaf. that’s what makes the best sandwiches!!!
There is nothing better than meatloaf!! Great job.
Meatloaf on the day of only. Interesting photo.
You can never ruin ground beef… sort of like eggs… if you try to do over easy and things break up… just wreck them and call them scrambled. Personally I like meatloaf. When I was a kid the Betty Crocker Cook Book for Boys and Girls had a recipe that became the family recipe for meatloaf. We doubled, tripled, quadrupled it, froze it and always had one ready to pop in the oven. No, you can’t beat meatloaf.
Your husband sounds a lot like mine. He had quite a pile of (my) things all sorted out to sell at a recent tag sale. Good thing I got to them before the sale!
