Hmm…wasn’t it just Saturday, like yesterday? Sure seems like it. Nonetheless, it’s Saturday Photo Hunters day! Woo-hoo! And there’s nothing sweeter than Saturdays. Especially since today’s theme is Sweet.
********
When my aunt and I traveled to Paris in 2006, we spied this cute little carousel and sweet-treats stand just across the street from the Eiffel Tower…
So, after we made our way down from the top of the Eiffel Tower, we visited the Carrousel Gourmand where they sold sweets such as crepes, glacer la crème, and cotton candy…
And because we were in Paris and just couldn’t pass up the fun, we had some sweet, pink cotton candy…
And took a ride on the sweet carousel…
Definitely one of my fondest memories of Paris. Sigh.

looks like you had a blast!! I love carousels!! Great pics.
How much fun you must have had ! I like the “Gourmand” stand.
Awesome! That Carousel Gourmand seems to have all the sweet treats. And oh…that cotton candy….that is really sweet but I do love them too.
Mine is up too.
Nothing sweeter than cotton candy! All of the colors just look so sweet, too.
Sweet memories!
It really looks like fun.
Such sweet memories of Paris. It’s a place I’d love to visit someday. Great photos. I love carousel rides! It’s been a while since I last had some cotton candy and I miss it.
Having a good time is the sweetest memories. Happy Weekend

Great shots! I haven’t been to an amusement park in years… something I’ll have to rectify!
Great fun! I love the carousel. And cotton candy is one of my favorites too.
I can see why your memories of Paris are so wonderful. You look so happy there!
So, is the French cotton candy better than the American variety or does it all just taste the same?
thanks for the sweet memories of paris.
