GR really did love Babyland General, didn’t he? Man, it was impossible to get him to leave! Thank goodness we had the boiled peanuts to lure him away! ;)

Gas to drive to Cleveland, Georgia: $50

Cost of one handpicked Cabbage Patch Kid: $200

Picture of GR holding his little baby: Priceless!

Hilarious!

Ah the Cabbage Patch museum/outing – priceless! He looks so happy!! I’m glad you caught that on film for all of us wives who delight in seeing our husbands squirm just a bit. That is too funny! Thanks for the laugh…

Wait a flipping minute! There is a Cabbage Patch Museum. Do you mean that there is a place horning babies like my Joel Chadwick? OMG I must visit it. Georgia?? Why Geogia, is that where the magical Cabbage Patch is?
GR’s look says it all. Adopting the infants is just WAY too much work. The Toddlers are SO much better. They also have a way cooler waredrobe. Is it wrong that Joel Chadwick’s wardrobe is still in my closet?

Big H – now he just can’t stop talking about his wonderful experience at BabyLand. I think that another trip is in order. But only if the car is overheating…

More on that tomorrow.

Leandra – this picture represents why we never had babies of our own!

Miss Margarita – we didn’t actually adopt one, but GR took a real shine to this one. I think a better suited name for GR’s baby would be Baby Bud.

Jenny – the man standing behind us was laughing at poor GR. Yes…there were other men there…

MP – there is a lovely “hospital” in Cleveland, GA where all of these little critters are magically born. Here’s the link: http://www.cabbagepatchkids.com/. I’ll write more about it for my Thursday Thirteen tomorrow.

You could take the young Joel Chadwick (WTF?) there for a visit…

Oh yes, the car overheating! I’d like to conduct an experiment to prove that the car temperature is a direct reaction with GR’s temper. As the temper increases, so does the engine. Good theory I think!

BTW, I forgot to mention that I could bring Calandra Laraine and Angus Alfred over for a playdate. Those were mine and now Punkin has them. I also just bought one for her very own — a preemie, I think whose wacked out name escapes me — though she came from Wally world, not the real live Cabbage Patch!
