Our London & Paris trip was a dream come true. I loved London & Paris--- it was quite an experiene. I loved the beautiful cathedrals, palaces, architect and history, the Eiffel Tower, and the countryside. It was a special trip with you, one of my best trips ever. I would like to go back again some day, too. Dear Lulu,

I backpacked Europe but purposely breezed through France and saw not-a-thing. My plan was to come back the next year. That was in 1997. The traffic was horrible, we got lost in the city, and couldn't figure out the Metro. However, we still managed to accomplish a few things. I went back the following year with my aunt, and I had the entire itinerary mapped out to a tee, and I studied the Metro map for a month before we left. It turned out to be a wonderful trip, and the French people seemed much nicer the second time around. MP – actually, that particular trip to Paris was pretty awful. When I was there, the painting was hung in the middle of what seemed to be a hallway/pass-through on an awful colored wall (as you can see from the picture). My husband used to live in London and my sister-in-law lives there now..so we for sure plan on going sometime soon. I HATED Paris..I liked the museum..the buildings but GAH the people. I almost starved due to the fact that the waiters intimidated the hell out of me.
