Do I Know You?

I suffer from short term memory loss. It runs in my family… At least I think it does… Where are they?” —from Finding Nemo.

Many, many years ago, Mom Huebert tagged me with a meme.  And I must apologize profusely for taking so long to take care of the darn thing!  Actually, I’m sure that I’m behind on a couple of memes.  However, I have an excuse y’all!  I’m working on a project deadline at the office, and it’s sucking the life, energy, and happiness right out of my chubby little cheeks.

So, just know that if I haven’t been by to visit your blog lately or if I haven’t completed your meme, it’s because I have a job that requires me to do some work…and stuff.  And there’s the possibility that I have early onset Alzheimer’s, because I seem to be driving my co-workers mad by accusing them of doing things that they didn’t actually do, because it was me that actually did them a few hours ago, and I just don’t remember.  It’s getting bad, people.

So, if you’re looking for me, I’ll just be over in the corner of my prison-like cubicle crying about crappy software issues and things I don’t remember.  Like my name.  And the real color of my hair…

I’m so sorry things are so stressful right now. I’ll pray for you tonight, and hope things smooth over soon.

When I got home from work last night I told my hubby, “don’t ask me what I did at 8am this morning because I have NO memory of what I have been doing all day”… stress = automatic pilot

Hang in there chicky!

Sweetie, hang in there. Don’t let the Corporate Man, Woman or Robot get you down. I wish I didn’t have to do the day job thing either. I’d love to just focus on me, me, me (oh, and my kids, too), but then we’d all be living in a box.

And you can remember your haircolor/weight/age/etc. being whatever you want it to be. You have my permission.

Have a Corona — that’ll relax you!

Don’t worry about posting — we’ll be here when you’re ready. We’re kind of co-dependent that way!

Dear Lulu,

A “little” late to reply—- You think your short term memory is bad now, but just wait til you get a little older.

Throw your socks in the wash!
