Flashback Friday: How Lulu Spent Her Blogging Vacation

Hey y’all!  I’m back.  Well, at least for today anyway.  You see, I’ve suffered through my most grinchiest Christmas ever, and I’ve also developed this whole mushy, lazy, blasé thing about the blogging business.  My blogging break was so nice, in fact, that I’m taking under serious consideration the thought of going into blog retirement.  Or perhaps making a move to Costa Rica.  I don’t know.  I’m just contemplating at this point, so don’t get all frenetic on me and start jumping off short chairs.  Or whatever it is that frenetic people do.  I like the word frenetic.

But enough about freneticism, let’s move on.  Let’s talk about me.  Yes, me, people.  I’ve been gone a long time, and I know that you are all just beside yourselves wondering where I have been and what I have been doing.  I just know it.  I can feel the vibe.  Either that or my stomach is growling.

Anyhow, for your viewing pleasure, I have created a little photo synopsis of how I’ve spent my blogging vacation.  A smorgasbord of pictures.  A germy buffet, if you will.  Please enjoy…

Happy New Year!

Voila!

So, there you  have it folks.  See what happens when you take a blogging vacation?  There’s a world of opportunity and fun awaiting you!  I can totally vouch for it…

Have a great weekend, y’all!  I’ll see you back here on Monday when I’m back in my right frame of mind.

See, this was so creative. Wasn’t it fun to write? Didn’t it fulfill you, at least a tiny bit?

You can’t quit. I’m frenetic.

Oh. I hear ya. I rather liked my blog break. I feel like I detoxed. And now that the fever’s broken, I’m not so sure I want to get hooked again.

I was just thinking the other day, “I wonder when Lulu will start posting again.”

Go get you some Pho–it’ll strengthen you for more blogging fun! (My favorite is Pho 79 on Buford Highway in the Burlington Coat Factory shopping center. Mmm, Pho.)

Glad to see you’re back! Wow, you did have a busy vaca. How did you ever find time to ride the pink pig? Did GR find any piping hot food at your different locales?

Looks like you stayed pretty busy during your blogging break. Glad you’re back… sort of.

And I’ve got news for you, missy: unless you want me to come down there and beat the bejesus out of you, you WILL continue blogging. Um, that’s not a threat or anything! ;)

I won’t be like these others all “oooooh, LuLu, don’t quit!” Nope. You go into blogging retirement and see if I care while I cry into my coffee because I have no more Lulu laughs or funny captions to read. No, really. It’s ok.

(yes, it is ok. Not preferable, but we’d still like you. I think.)

Kidding! Glad to see you traveled well these last few weeks. Definitely consider the once a week thing, or the periodic updates like Beta Mom does…although she has people frenetic too.

Your picture captions are hilarious! Well, whatever you decide, I’m glad you’re back, even if it’s only temporary. :)

Hey! I have an idea. Maybe you could just post once a month. Say, on the first day of the month. It’s a totally low pressure option, and then we’d all know when to check in. Whaddaya think?

It’s lies, all lies, I tells ya. Funny lies, but lies nevertheless. Unless you are hopping on planes after work.

If you hear me chuckling in my cube, it’s because this post is so dang funny.

I mean it’s really awesome. You really do know yourself out for this blog. Reread what mp said above.

Lauren – I totally know what you mean. It’s really hard to completely retire.

I’m slowly making my rounds and catching up, so I’ll be over to visit you soon!!
