Unfortunately, my blog design did not win Best Lookingat Kailani’s Bloggy Hoss Awards. Pfft. That’s okay. Lulu not a sore loser. Lulu knows that the designer of her blog (Leanne Wildermuth) is the best in the biz. And just because the winner in the Best Looking category happens to get like umpteen-gazillion comments a day, and because the site is awesome, and everyone voted for it, and…well, darn it. Lulu is a sore loser. But thanks to my one reader all of my readers who voted for me!
Anyhow, this is going to be a short post because it’s 10:35pm, and my eyes are propped open with toothpicks at this point. I just want to send out a quick “get well soon” to Phoo’s beast, Kaya, who is recovering from metal-plate-in-the-knee surgery (technically speaking) that cost as much as a very used Ford Escort. Big H sent me this picture of Kaya earlier today, and I just couldn’t help but post it here…
Get well soon, Kaya! I know that Big H is just counting the moments until you’re back to your old self again…

Well. Isn’t that a bunch of rotten bananas? Your blog rocks. And I say that not because I designed it, because in all seriousness - sometimes when I come visit I forget I did it and I think “oooh this is so cute” (and moments later, usually, it’s followed by an OH YEAH! moment.) And I think that really means something. And also? It’s not just the design, but what you fill it up with that makes it beautiful.
Unfortunately, those who have the biggest readership usually win. Even *I* lost out on most artistic, what, do people not KNOW WHO I AM??
Oh I am so grateful we don’t take ourselves as seriously as some do, though - humble is good. I’ll take my handful of loyal friends over a massive hysteria of screaming fans any day.

Tee hee! Thanks for thinking of her Lulu! She isn’t so bad…most of the time! She is sleeping at my feet at the moment (drug induced) and is just a as sweet as she can be. Of course, she tried to bite me in her E-collar yesterday…of course, I’d bite anyone looking at me in that thing too!
