Last week, GR and I celebrated our 15th year of wedded misery bliss. Damn that’s a long time! Aren’t we eligible for a medal or a gold watch or something? Hmph. I would think so!
When I think back over our 15 years of mind-numbing togetherness, my first thought is that we are getting very, very old. And wrinkly. We are not the same young, skinny couple that we once were…
Nor are we the same couple raising a small child…
Nor do I ever sit in GR’s lap as I used to (I would totally squash
him now)…
Nor are we the same couple who take corny self-portraits…
BUT, we are the same couple who still dance together…
And the same couple who laugh together…
And the same couple who share a great love for our 19 year old son…
And the same couple who love one another, until death do us part…

My deepest condolences…erm…I mean ‘My deepest congratuations!’
The short shorts photo is hawt! I mean, as ‘hawt’ as things can be when people are soaking their bunions.
IOU the letter -L.
Awww, Lulu! That’s so sweet! I love seeing all those pictures.
And what’s with that ghost? Is that really a ghost? Fuh-reaky!

Subspace – yeah, the bunions thing, well, we had just gotten back to my mom’s house in Tampa from a loooong day at Busch Gardens. Our feet were killing us! I’m just now taking another look at that picture and remembering the sweet days of pre-cellulite…hence the short-shorts.
Madame – I have no idea how the picture turned out that way! I’m not sure if I’m the ghost or if he is!!
Thanks for sharing those great photos! You and GR are a great couple.

Momhuebert – thank you!
All Adither – Yes, I tend to do things a little backwards in life. For a little bit more on that see:

Happy anniversary, my friend!
Tell me – how did you survive the kid’s 18th birthday? Jordan’s is tomorrow, and I am really struggling!
I miss you! Wish you’d post more often!

Hi Christie! I know! I wish that I would post more often, too! And how did I survive? I’m not sure that I did/have. Things seem to be more difficult (and expensive!) now than when he was in his very early teens! Ay, yi, yi.
Mz. Nesbit – wow, gorgeous? I’m thinking more like washed up! As for the ghost picture, very strange indeed…
What a sweet sweet post…
You guys were babies together!!
