Susan – I was thinking that it was part of the curtains, but now I’m thinking table skirt. I surely hope it’s not someone’s skirt! This picture was taken at my aunt’s house…hmm…I’ll have to consult with her.

I’ve always wanted to try scrapbooking but never have. I have no idea why. Somehow it seems daunting. Maybe I’m afraid my pages will look crappy or something. And of course we have no photo books at ALL. NONE.

Teach me, o wise one.

Love that 77 photo, too. Is that… is that… is that a gold velvet rocking chair in the background? Did we grow up in the same house??

Hi Lulu, Thank you for your comment on the blog. I have to say yours is one of the most unique I have seen with all the elements! I like it! I LOVE scrabpooking too, but have gone completely digital so no more cutting! YEAH! I used to actually cut out individual letters; I bet you do that too! Leslie

Wow. I'm getting itchy just looking at that carpet. The late 70s really was the golden era of synthetic material. This is why I don't scrapbook -- I'm really trying to block out the aesthetics of the 1970s. And the 80s. And MOST of the 90s. SubspaceBea's last blog post..Three posts in ONE! Yes. Three for one. Love it Lulu! I’m glad I swung by yesterday…I had no idea there were adhesive squares! I always use good old fashioned glue…such a mess!

That’s a real cute picture. I know you really did like to color back then. Do you still have some of your color books, or drawings that you did? If so, you’ll have to put them on your blog.
